Hi, I'm Dani Bucholtz

My career started in corporate sales, but I found my real path in the mortgage industry. Two young kids at home, constant travel, and a growing feeling that I wanted work that actually meant something — so I became a loan originator. Clients kept telling me they felt like "just another number" at the bigger shops, and I was determined to do it differently.

When I couldn't find a company whose values matched mine, I did what any slightly bold, slightly stubborn entrepreneur does — I started my own mortgage company. The philosophy was simple: treat every client the way you'd want to be treated. That built a business entirely on trust, referrals, and genuine relationships.

In 2004 I added my real estate license to the mix, and the business grew the same way — word of mouth. Two decades later, many of those original clients still send me new faces. It's still the best compliment I get.

​

By 2019 I'd noticed another gap: most real estate education wasn't designed for how today's professionals actually learn. So I founded Encompass Real Estate School to change that — classes that are engaging, relevant, and (yes) even enjoyable. Since then we've expanded across multiple states and built continuing education and post-licensing programs that realtors actually look forward to.

Today I'm a Designated Managing Broker in North Carolina, South Carolina, and California, with extensive experience helping realtors build thriving, ethical, profitable businesses. I hold an MBA, which means I get to pair business insight with real-world real estate expertise every time I walk into a class or a coaching session. I'm a practicing Realtor® — so I'm not just teaching about the industry, I'm working in it every day. That means the trends and challenges I bring into the classroom are the ones I'm seeing firsthand on a Tuesday afternoon.

Outside of work, I'm a tech enthusiast, a lifelong learner, and a proud dog mom to Coco and Willow. I live in North Carolina with my husband, doing what I love most — helping real estate professionals learn, lead, and shine in their own way.
